PE650 Latency values?
I have been searching far and wide and can not find what latency values I should input (using enginiuity) for the PE650 injectors. I did some calculations (based on the 1.5ms listed by PE), but I am not sure what voltage the 1.5ms is for.
I read through and found that for the UTEC the latency values are based on either 12.8V or 13.8V (don't remember exactly anymore), so I would think that 1.5ms would be for a similar voltage. Anyone have any input on this?

I don't have the values for you but if you have a wideband a little time to log things it shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

Thanks I do have a wideband. I have the idle running perfect and am getting ready to tune the fuel map. Just wanted to make sure I was starting with decent values so it doesn't come back to bite me in the butt.
I am using eginiuty to tune the injector scale and latency, and using the UTEC for everything else. |

The cobb tuning worksheet says to use these settings for the PE 650's:
scaler 4160 latency 3.69, 2.39, 1.88, 1.58, 0.68 hope this helps. |

The only thing I don't understand with the above is the "scalar" value. I thought Cobb was basically the same thing as openecu? I ended up using 660 as the injector flow scaling (enginuity). I have a pretty good idle but STFT is still on the negative side, so I still need to pull a little more fuel. Well, I am giving up for today, to nice out to be stuck in the. Thanks big time for the values, I am gonna input those right now. |

The scaler is easy to figure out once the latency is set. Just log and add AF Learning 1 to AF Correction 1 then adjust the scaler by that amount. Log again to verify and make corrections as needed. I would set the scaler so that the AFR is accurate over the widest range and then tune out the rest as needed using the MAF table.

Thanks for the help guys. I used the latency values posted above, and the car idles great. I still need to tweak the scalar because at idle the car is pulling about 10% of the fuel. Long term learning is pulling about 15%.
I am only using enginuity to control idling and will tune the fuel maps in the utec to control everything else (basically leaving the 0% column as all zero's). |

6.5V 9.0V 11.5V 14.0V 16.5V 3.61 2.31 1.80 1.50 1.20 jays05 - where did you find those values? I looked through all of the latencies (for all different injectors and years) and can't find those anywhere on the sheet. |
