Default AP stage 1 91 octane vs stage 1 93 octane

Just curious if it makes any difference at all.

I currently am running the stage 1 91 octane map. It runs a lot better than stock.

I always put 93 octane in the car, I used the 91 octane map because I felt that there was less risk of detonation over the 93 map.

What have you guys tried? My suspicion is that there is no real difference at all.

Any info would be great.

I get additional dynamic advance with the 93 map. Although I only had the 91 map loaded for a short time, so I cannot tell you if there was any butt dyno difference. However, I use 93 octane with the 93 map and have not had any evidence of det. I believe that the OTS maps still have plenty of det margin. So running the 91 map is even more, unrequired margin. Just my 2 cents tho.
