Hard to keep clean black!

Default Enginuity Question

I am trying to use this to do some data logging (no tuning!), Is there a prompt in the program to turn on the turn ignition, i'm having trouble connecting between the car and the program. All my programs are up to date, Anyone know whats going on?

What cable are you using? The latest version will auto connect and the parameters should show up on left pane based on your ecu. If not, then try changing the com port in the drop down box.

I'm using a tactrix cable, and also switched between the com ports and still nothing, the pc hardware wizard found and installed the cable, but still no connection.

Did you also install Ecuflash which install the tactrix drivers? Do you have the ignition turned to on or car running?

No, not logging. Ecutek "locks" the ecu for reading/flashing. Shouldn't for logging as far as I know.

Did you install the openport software? I had this issue on my intel mac, windows XP didn't really get the correct drivers for my application, so I had to go online and get all the coresponding drivers. Also, make sure its in the com port after the computer boots up. I noticed if I left it in, it wouldn't "see" it.
