Default Installed EGT sensor - check out my temps

Mods:
td05 20G 7cm2
sti tmic
modded stock injectors
stock intake w/ perrin drop-in
stock block
stock headers
93 octane fuel

At redline I'm sitting at 1620* F
Cruising around town I'm sitting around 1200-1300* F
At idle I'm around 800-900* F

A/F is 11.2 peak boost tapering to 10.8 at redline.

11* Timing at peak boost tapering up to 19* at redline.

Boost is 20psi across.

Where is your egt probe located? It must be close to the exhaust port if you can see 1620F. Mine is at the driver side manifold.
When you see 1620F at redline, is that on a flat road? I'm chicken to go above 1600F so my target afr is just a tad lower than yours at redline. I climb a pretty long hill on my commute.

Mine is on the driver's side too. 1620* F isn't bad at all. That's pretty much exactly where you want it. I may advance another degree and see if I can drop them down a bit. This was also in hot weather.

On my STi I've seen ~1700F to almost 1800F. Then again I was off the max of the probe. This was at almost 125mph in the straights at Grattan Raceway.

Not like I was racing in school zones while masturbating drunk to Jesus porn.
