Default xpt stage 2

I dont know much about mapping and all that, but I came accross the Xpt stage 2 map for the 2002 wrx.

I have a 2002 wrx, 3 in catless TBE, gutted up pipe, CAI, and a couple other things. The map costs 52 bucks to download, but is that all that I need? Can someone please inform me on how the map works, and how I will get it onto my car? What else would I need to buy considering I only have the stock ECU? Do I also need to purchase wires etc...

thanks guys, sorry for the noob questions
