Default CVT maintenance schedule for 2014 Impreza? ...

Flipping through the manual, and based on something I read a while back, I got the impression that these CVTs are essentially sealed? And maintenance-free?

I would change the fluid/filter in my cars with traditional ATs every 60k or so.

What should be done, if anything, for maintenance to these CVTs? I'm at about 52k miles now.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

My dealer basically says no maintenance required (except checks every 6 months for unwanted stuff in the fluid) till 100K KM (circa 60K miles). CVT fluid change at 100- so If If were you, I would do the fluid change. Find the service manual if you plan doing it yourself - not too complicated but not as simple as an automatic.
