Question Powdercoating & keyless entry installation in Calgary ...

Anyone know of a reputable place in Calgary that powdercoats rims and if so how much it would cost? I am thinking of powdercoating my MY01 wheels metallic gold. It would match the gold lettering on my car.

Also, I was looking for a reputable place to buy keyless entry. Any thoughts, experiences?

Hey Keenan.

I couldn't really find any good powder coating shop in Calgary. However, the ones that I did said I first need to sandblast (approx $25/rim) and then powercoat (approx $25/rim). All said and done about $400 for the whole set. Not sure how good they will look either.

You are probably better off buying a set of 98 rim like I did.

Autotemp is a good place to install that kind of stuff on your car. So is EconoSound. Theres so many places in Calgary now. Those are just 2 i recommend.

I've had good experiences with Audio Concepts Mobile on 32nd Ave NE, as well as the Visions on Macleod Tr S (they did the install on my alarm). Here's ACM's website: http://www.audioconceptsmobile.com
