Was it necessary to post this in 3 forums?? The 3076r will work fine. Just look at any dyno charts from a perrin 30r kit.

400whp or 400chp?
Pump gas? Pump + AWI? Race gas?
2.0L or 2.5L? (sorry but I'm not familiar with the 1999 Impreza)

CN: 3071 is good for 47 lb/min, 3076 for 52 lb/min, you'll have to look at the maps to know more.

10chp per lb/min is possible, but perhaps optimistic. The relationship between whp and chp is the subject of much debate, but "whp = chp * 0.8" will get you in the ballpark.

Has anyone here seen a dyno plot from a properly-functioning 3071R in a Subaru? I haven't seen any yet, but Blouch just released theirs, so more data should be available soon.
