Post Outstanding Traction with WRX

Lots has been written about the RE92's and how bad they are but I got to tell you, if better tires improves the traction then I can almost not imagine it. It snowed in etown today. Just a little while ago I was following a Jeep into a 90 curve. The snow was packed and polished. THe Jeep went straight through the curve (with his break lights on) and I just rounded the curve like it was dry pavement. It felt weird to me as I have never driven an all-wheel drive before and fully expected to slide. I think I am going to enjoy driving this vehicle in the winter and I never though I would be happy to see it snow now but it gave me a great opportunity to experience the WRX in different conditions.

Ahhhhh...Another happy convert!!

BUT, as Keiho said, don't get stupid about it. The RE92's really are sucky tires and they lose their grip VERY suddenly in snowy weather. I know from experience!!

Congrats again on the car!!!
