Default new motor,which turbo?

hey i have an 2003 wrx, I just got myslef a cobb stage 2 2.5l block forged internals had the wrx heads massaged and refurbished and here are my supporting mods.....aps race fuel system....pe 800cc injectors, aps turbo inlet, aps 70mm intake, hks exhaust, helix dp, dc up, aps dr 550 fmic, koyorad, aps bov, and a few extras fuel pump ect...im looking to make 400 whp on 91 oct and here are the turbos im looking at.....the shop my car is in recomends the aps sr56 which they say wont make 400whp but will get close and is a great turbo....im looking for power here but no lag past 4k i want full boost by atleast 4200k. I drive mostly canyons but sometimes freeways so i want the best of both and i know thats choosy but im looking for that turbo that an auto x enthusiest might not want because its just out of their desired spool range. the other turbo im looking at is a rotated mount set up such as a gt-30/35 either by garett or perrin...this im told can make the 400whp mark but may be a bit laggy...so to anyone and everyone that has the experiance please answer this....thanks

I'd go with an 8cm Green turbo(FP Green, DB SZ49, Blouch Dominator or Frank 50). These are more affordable than an SR56, and the money you save will afford a meth injection kit to run with your 91 octane. With meth + 91oct, 400whp is completely doable with this turbo. What is more important, hitting 400whp on 91 octane or spooling fully before 4200RPM(in 3rd I'm guessing?)

Great setup, did you upgrade the ej205 cams? Tranny?
