Default Aston Martin V8 Vantage N400

Aston Martin has been waiting for the moment when they could boast their new supercar, the N400. They created this car with an extra dose of 10kW and 10Nm to give it the ability to lap even the fastest of race cars.

Technical improvements include a power upgrade to Aston Martinís 4.3 litre V8 engine, lifting peak power to 400 hp and peak torque to 310 lb-ft. In addition to the power upgrade, the N400 is also equipped with a sports pack consisting of refined suspension improvements such as up-rated springs and dampers and a new rear anti-roll bar, there are also
Lightweight graphite-finished aluminium wheels.
The Vantage N400 also includes a number of exterior design changes, including a revised side sill design, Magnum Silver bonnet and side strake meshes, clear rear lamp lenses and a bright finish grille. This supercar was also given a redesigned side sill and bonnet, while the rear gets a more modern clear rear-lamp lenses now include SatNav as well as Bluetooth connectivity and heated seats.Interior enhancements include perforated black leather seats, micro-spin alloy facia trim and a unique numbered sill plaque.

The Vantage N400 will be avaailable in three new exterior
colors: Bergwerk Black, Lightning Silver or Karussell Orange, with either Sportshift automated manual or conventional manual transmission and in either Coupe or Roadster forms.

I would have thought that they would pump power up somewhere in the 420HP range at least... Seems like a rather weak power upgrade to me...Hoep they wont make it a separate model from the current ones though...

this is the sport version of the V8. you don't want it to get into V12 levels of power.

Aston boss Ulrich Bez entoned, "The king is dead. Long live the king," referring to the erstwhile Vanquish, which he called less refined than the DBS, just a paragraph after lavishing praises on Ford for its former supportbux. Perhaps more of a draw for Aston-loving journos were the two special editions, the V8 Vantage N400 and Aston Martin DB9 LM, which celebrate GT racing victory. The special Vantage comes with 400 horsepower (and as a roadster), metallic orange paint and a kiss from the design gods. The DB9 comes only in silver, and only one will be allotted per dealership.
