Default Pro Solo/National Tour

Was thinking of doing the Pro Solo event in Ft Myers next month but I'm confused about the fact there are races 2 weekends in a row. What's the difference between the Pro Solo and the National tour weekends?

I'm also curious what the entry fees might be. And what Hotel all the Scooby people will be staying at?

There is sure to be a few Scooby's there; myself, SUV-ETR, RSChic, pleiades, Eric K., Eric C...to name a few. There are in fact two different types of races on two back-to-back weekends.

ProSolo puts two cars on side-by-side, mirrored courses and uses a "drag tree" to start the race. The first 50-100 ft is side by side drag strip, followed by a 30-40 sec auto-x course.

National Tour events are more similar to your local events, they just usually draw better drivers.

Entry fees are usually steep, $50-$75 per event, but is' well worth it in my opinion. As far as hotels, nothing's been arranged yet...I'll start working on mine this week, I'll keep everyone informed so we can stay close!
