Default AVO - 08 Impreza upgrades!

We're here in the US finally, and with the latest parts for the latest Subaru, the 08 WRX and RS!

Turbochargers!

The AVO380WRX is a hybrid of the AVO420WRX compressor housing with a AVO 3-4 exhaust housing designed for the 08 WRX. This is one of the strengths of actually manufacturing our own ball-bearing turbochargers, as we can respond quickly to customer demand and engineer solutions in a relatively quick time. The combination was designed for a quicker spool than the AVO420 with good top-end power. There was also some right-sizing for customers wanting to maintain a stock fueling system.
This turbo has a flow rate of 44lb/min with a 0.60 SAR Compressor Housing, and an AVO 3-4 Exhaust Housing. The turbine wheel measures 46.95mm.

The AVO420WRX has a medium-sized CHRA center matched to the AVO 4-5 exhaust housing. This turbocharger combines quick response with good mid-range torque. The larger exhaust housing allows for higher boost levels than the 380 without worry of boost creep. It is an excellent choice for most users with this combination of near-stock response mated to much better performance throughout the powerband.
This turbo has a flow rate of 44lb/min with a 0.60 SAR Compressor Housing, and an AVO 4-5 Exhaust Housing. The turbine wheel measures 46.95mm.
All of our turbochargers come with the AVO solid boost actuator and all necessary oil/water lines and gaskets.

For people that want to keep their stock turbo's for a while longer (why???), we've got solid boost actuators to get just a bit more from your turbocharger. It helps maintain boost longer to redline, providing a nice bump in power, and is stronger than the stock actuator.

And for that bit of bling and noise under the hood, there is our AVO BOV. AVO blow-off valves are a 50% recirculate, 50% vent system that retains the return tube, keeping the stock computer system happy, while an additional vent with removeable plate sends hot air to atmosphere.

Then we have our TMIC upgrade for the 08 WRX as well!

This has been designed to bolt right in to stock car, no cutting or trimming necessary. With much less pressure drop than the standard intercooler and much better flow capacity and cooling ability, this is a must-have upgrade!

On the more affordable end of power upgrades is the AVO panel air filter. The AVO high-flow pop-in panel air filter has been designed specifically for the all new 08 Impreza WRX. Made from sturdy cotton fiber, it increases air flow, allowing the engine to make more power and torque. Yet thanks to a special dry film it has equal rates of engine protection. Thanks to it's high-tech design the AVO panel air filter is washable, extending the life beyond your standard drop-in air filter.

By mounting the AVO Power filter in the inner fender guard, you can be sure of getting cold air to your engine! AVO uses a washable and fully re-usable hi-flow bolt-on filter system that includes the mounting flanges and 2 silicone hoses with a 45 deg stainless connecting pipe. It is truly simple to install on your own, and is a good, cheap power-adder that works well with stock or modified setups. If you are seeking maximum power, this is the way to flow.

Cheers,

Yes, we do actually!

Our high-flow panel air filter will drop right in and provide a boost in response and power.

The low-down sports springs which should be here in about 4-5 weeks will provide a needed increase in handling and looks:
