94 RHD Legacy
w/wrx swap. White

Legacy 04 sti short block TT in RHD

Well, ive been driving my 94 RHD legacy with the WRX swap for awhile and it drives great and has more than enought power, now that the novelty of it all has worn off ive been collecting parts as they make themselve accessable.
I managed to pickup an 04 sti short block
a spare ej25 from a legacy for all the extra nuts a bolts
And i have the ej20 in my legacy already.
Iam acouple months away from ordering an ej22tt for the last of the parts i need to build it (turbo setup) as well as arp studs, cometic gaskets and maybe a rotating assembly if i can sell another one of my cars off.

So far its still in the planning and teardown stages.
Iam gonna use the sti block and internals, i want to match the compression ratio of the 2.2 so i'll end up probably doing the internals.
Ive got a choice of heads, the N/a 2.5 twin cams, the WRX or the TT heads? I know i really want to use the wrx ecu and wiring so i think iam gonna try and use the wrx heads, and as much of the intake manifold components and fuel system as possble.
I can imagine the TT manifold and fuel system is 100% different than the OEM 2.0. so Iam probably stuck with doing a front mount. I guess i'll just have to compare them when the engine gets here.
Im going to out source the tuning to a local guy here were i live, b/c i uploaded some beer onto my laptop and it doesnt work anymore.

For the trannsmission iam gonna have to do some more digging.
I like the idea of 4.44 forester gears, but even with 3.90 in my legacy now at 55mph im into the boost, i would just use the front and rear diffs and stick with the Legacy gears, so it would be supper close. But impossable to drive to and from work everyday. I need a gear ratio chart.
I hate to use the forester trans and diff.s because i know the gears have probably been spaced further apart to accomobate the low final drive.

Anyway, its not too over the top, i dont plan on doing more than a mild boost setting, with the tt setup its more.....putting the boost where it needs to be.

Any idea's, info or comments would be appriciated
