Default Question for you Suby guys.

Hello all,

My son bought a Subaru a while ago (07 Impreza) and for his birthday/Christmas, I wanted to buy him new tires. He speaks highly of the Subaru community, and I wanted to ask you guys what you would recommend for tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

It he wants someting decently grippy, not to noisey, wears less than Azenis, but still overall nice tire, I had the Falken FK452s on my bugeye and they were nice.

Nitto 555's have been good to me. I had Toyo Proxes 4's for awhile too and they were ok.

I'm currently running FK452's, and like them. One thing szeny didn't mention specifically is their wet grip, which is surprisingly good and has probably saved by butt on rare occasion.

need more info! does he want a summer tire, something with decent wet traction, a super sticky street tire? all above mentioned are good choices, the hankook rs-2 is one i really like. it also depends on what you want to spend.

I have Falken 452 from discount tire on my 17 inch BBS rims. I love them, and they weren't that expensive. The are the same ones advertised I think as the 'luxury tuner' tire.

They have been great; especially for the money!
