I'm not a fan, but I never planned on buying a forester so my opinion doesn't matter.

Personally I've always been a fan of boxy cars (which might explain why my other car is a 63 Chevy). I think that today they stand out from the field of jelly beans much like sleek cars did back in the 50's and 60's.

I do give Subaru props for succesfully updating their car while (again, in my opinion based on a the few photos I've seen) retaining several elements that made the predecessor succesful.

the new forester is well... more useful I guess. Its not my cup of tea though. Theres a guy locally who's got an XT modded to forester sti specs, and its a thing of beauty.
