Default Where to get oil filter?

I have searched for this, but only found american auto parts stores. Can you get the filter from crappy tire and if so, is it any good.
For guy in Ottawa..... where can you take your old motor oil?

Hi Rusty,

I get my filter from the local Subaru dealer. For the $ I might save at Crappy Tire it is not worth the hassle.

Canadian Tire sells the oil filters for the EJ25's now..... I don't think they did last year.....

I still buy mine at the dealer but instead of buying 1, I usually buy 2 or 3....

Crappy tire takes oil back.... I usually people leaving used oil by their garage doors....

i would not use crappy tire oil filters. the only one they offer is suppose to be good for synthetic or what ever. says on the box they filter 97% some BS like that. they are nothing much than fram double guard filters. i've cut one open and it has cardboard end caps and what you would find in your usual fram. i wish i would have taken some pictures but it was very messy cutting a dirty filter open. they even share the same part number with fram oil filters. 3593 i think it was. the best filter would be from the OEM ones.
