Default JDM version 8 Sti 2.0 liter engine avcs big port head $3300.

Sold...

This is an 03 jdm sti version 8 engine. It is a 2.0 engine with the big port heads and avcs. NON ra version. Semi closed deck block and stronger than usual crank. Redlines at 8k rpm and can easily hold over 400whp the way it sets.
This IS one of the best engine subaru has ever produced and can be yours.

Only 12k miles total and zero problems. I ran this engine for 2.5 years. Very well taken care of and never abused. Warmed up and cooled down properly. Oil changed every 2000-2500 miles with mobile 1 synthetic and oem subaru filter. There are NO disapointments with this engine!

Basically what you see is what you get. This engine is drop in ready; remove the accessories on your car, install them on this engine and your ready to go with a jdm sti engine.
There is NO:
Turbo system
intercooler
a/c pump
alternator
power steering pump

You do get everything in the picture including the matching jdm ecu.
Price is 3300 or 3100 if picked up locally in Missoula, Montana. There will be a small charge to pallet it and deliver to the shipper if i have to do that.
Pm me if seriously interested. Please no tire kickers. This is a steal for this engine!
Thanks

Returned the pm. As for shipping the engine i would, but the money has to be good first before it leaves. That could take up to a couple of weeks to clear.

Why are you getting rid of this motor? And is there any way for me to know the motor is good? Please don't be offended but you know how things are around here. I saw on the Gruppe-s site a while back that they had a v7bottom end matted to the v8 bigport heads and I thought that would be a great motor to run in my 02. But right now can't remember what the differences in the short block on the v7 to v8. I was thinking the v7 had a little something else going for it. When you get a chance to pm me back I would appretiate this. I can come up with the money no problem but I'm just nervous about not buying from a vendor. Plus I'm in NC and can't get to Montana any time soon to look at it...lol.

The only difference is that the V7 Ej207 has factory forged pistons and the V8 has hypereutectic cast pistons....

This is one hell of a good deal on this engine and ecu here....

I have a V8 engine that I am about to build up with eagle rods and wiseco forged pistons and ported big port heads....

that will be a 500whp+ safe engine that will wind to 9000 RPM!!!!!

Bumpage for info to help the seller....

P.S.- use paypal and get protection for your purchase on larger items... your credit card protects the buyer with chargeback if the item sold is misrepresented.....
