Default very specal black brighton

It's a 1996 Subaru Brighton 5 speed, with a 1.8 L engine. It does come with an intake although I havn't put it in yet (it's winter).

Handling wise it currantly has a very odd setup...thanks to matt and my screw up. It has a set of front STi springs in the rear on WRX struts, and a set of WRX springs in the front with WRX struts. The struts are practically brand new. I do have the rear STi springs, and they will go with the car, but I would urge someone to take it for a drive first...it actually handles better that way than anything I've ever driven before. With stock sway bars I can take a corner at around .85/90 G's with no chassis roll...and thats on crappy winter tires. I do have a rear sway bar that will go with the car (brightons didn't have one).

it currantly has stock brakes. this is because I don't belive the WRX calipers I have will fit over the 14" winter rims I have on the car. The WRX calipers and roators will go with the car (although if the buyer is willing to wait until march when it's warmer so I don't have to try and get them off in the snow as they are on my old impreza hatch right now).

2 comes with 2 sets of rims and tires, with the option of a third:

the set that I've been thinking about selling, and may still sell if no one is interested in the car as a whole, which are 17's as seen in gabes pictures of the car. they come with 215/45/17 kumo 712's with 75% meat left.

a set of 14 inch rims with all season tires, they really do go well in the snow

I also have a set of 17" rims that are very scored with axenes on them. the tires have about 25% meat left but would be fine for autocross or the like. I would add them in for another 250 if anyone wanted.

Looks wise the car is amazing. For those of you two havn't seen it take a look at gabes pictures "brighton in black" on the 2nd page of the gallery.

It has a jap WRX front bumper with hella 500's (not currently working, I havn't been able to figure out where the wiring issue is, but they are fine otherwise). a higher rear spoiler than a stock RS, 2.5 RS hood, 2.5 RS interior and gauge cluster, and a relitivly brand new paint job (October). It also has a nice CD player head unit with 6" by 9" speakers in the back.

The only known problem with the car is that it's leaking oil from the oil pump. It's not a ton, but it does leak on the exhaust, so I may fix it before sale in any case, potential buyers are welcome to contact me about it.

What this car really needs is someone with some money to do a WRX swap to it, or at least a 2.5. It's beautiful, I just don't have the money to finish it.

Due to the nature of the car and everything thats been done to it, I'm asking $4000.00 for it. If I don't see that in a few weeks I'll probably drop it to 3500.00, but after that I'll probably look somewhere else. When you add up what all of the work would cost your way over that, and honesty it's one of the best looking cars I've ever seen.

the OD reads 113000K, however it's actually 116000 as the RS cluster was 3K behind the stock one when it was installed.

and question or concerns feel free to PM me.

I'll consider other offers, and I'm looking for a OBS for a replacment ;-). I'm thinking 3000 for just the car with the winter rims, or 3500 for it with the ones as shown and the winters.
