Question stormung high flow cat quest

hey guys im buying up all the parts i need for my 07 exhast re hab. I have the borla headers and the stormung high flow cat and im thinking about getting a apexi n1 cat back for the last part. I belive an 05 wrx version will work and bolt up no problem to the stormung high flow cat but i thought i would check with you guys first. Also my buddy is doin the same set up but with el headers is he gonna seriously notice a difference in power thought i would just ask thanks.

An equal length header will net more horsepower but in all honesty, I much rather prefer the sound of an UEL header. It would be easier to buy an Apex'i N1 for the 1993-2001 Impreza because I believe they still fit, there's just an extra hanger or something. If not, it will be easier to modify than a WRX exhaust because their cat-backs run from the downpipe due to the turbo. Also, WRX exhausts are 2.5-3.0inches which is not optimal for N/A applications. Just something to keep in mind

what EL header does he have? check out this post if you dont think EL headers net much more hp/tq than UEL's http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...bx+header+dyno

UEL's sound badass and EL's give you more power and can still sound nice, just not anything like the UEL's... both are cool. to each his own.

+1 for going with stromung catback. Sounds nice and looks more stock then apexi.
