Default Blower fan going out?

I have a 95 Legacy L and when I turned on the fan, the blower started to have this flapping sound. It sounded like you put a piece of paper near a fan and the paper started to flap. Sometimes the bottom part of the blower has squeezing sound as well; but rarely happen.

Everything works fine, A/C, defroster, heat, etc.

I want to make sure if the blower fan or the blower wheel is going to dead so that I can prepare to replace it soon.

There is probably some debris caught in the fan, such as leaves. If so it's an easy fix, pull the blower from under the passenger side dash and clean it out.

Yup, I just did that myself....I don't think you even need to pull the glovebox (I did, just for kicks), just reach underneath and pull the three philips-head screws from the blower and disconnect the power plug and the moisture drain tube/vent tube. Clean out debris and brush with whisk broom, put back in.
