Default Hella Supertones install question

Got em all snug mounted in behind the grille on my 07 pignose.. now comes the wiring, and the question..How many of you have simply unhooked your stock horns, and wired the feed directly to the Hellas, making them your main horns, and are there any issues with amperage/ draw/ blowing fuses?

You won't get them to full potential without the relay. Do a search for a DIY install. OR you can read the box which is what I did. I have the stock ones PLUS the two Hella's.

you can just wire in each hella to the factory plugs then run a ground to each horn , no amp drawage probs, if you opt to use the factory horns "plus " the hellas then yes wire the relay set up accordingly

You can DIY or buy one of our premade custom fitted wiring harnesses.

I've had mine hooked to my stock wiring for about four years with no problems. I will probably eventually upgrade the wiring though along with a relay.

I made my own harness but just plugged into the stock horns.
