Cool Take your muffler off...NOW!!

Yup, took another I-clubber's advice and took mine off and replaced it with a straight pipe. I've had it off for three weeks, driving the car to work, up north, off road, etc, and I just can't get enough of that awsome sound.

I originally did it to save my scoobysport from off road damage but I just don't want to put the muffler back on! Yeah, the SS is a great sound but a WOT the open exhaust just ROARS !!!!

The sound isn't THAT loud - quiter than a hopped up civic - but the rewards are tremendous. It's obviously louder than most muffled systems but there are enough cats/restrictions/resonator that the sound is not unbearable.

I had a mandrel-bent piece custom made for $100. You'll thank me later

BTW: Nice to see a Canadian crew here..

I drove a borla for more than a year. Then driving someone's car with a stock muffler made me realise what I was missing in a long drive. Now I've ordered an MRT which is supposed to be quiet. Hoping it's so.

One other reason for not making lots of noise is the attention from the men in blue. Driving hard and making noise equals tickets.

It might be quiet on your WRX because you have a turbo, If you have an N/A engine it would be very loud. So this is not recommended on a N/A engine.
