Default Adam's VF39 Meth tune...TORRRRQUEEE!

Adam finally installed his PPG Straight cut and now we can actually tune this thing. It was tuned on 22 PSI, Pump and Meth. Car came out real nice for the amount of boost.

Mods:
TXS TMIC
TXS short ram
VF39
Precision Tuning external uppipe 44mm
Aquamist HFS-5
Pump
Turboback
Turbosmart MBC
PPG straight cut, Period.

wow nice tq... and that tranny will hold it all day too!

also, was this a wrx or sti? does it spin all 4 with that much torque?

All4bSpinnin, Its a WRX and Adam did mention some spin-age going on in the early gears.

lol thanks guys, the car is a 2007 wrx tr and a complete animal, the torque is amaing,

1st gear is completely useless lol

im glad i was finally able to put my numbers down with a solid trans and no worries. although the ppgs are going to take some time and patience getting used to lol very loud

this was all on 22psi tapering to 20 psi.

the only stock sti we had was an 08. It put down 225whp/230wtq. Not high considering what other shops dynojets read.

ahh. thats koo..

i dont know much about 08 STi dyno numbers.

but yea i asked this because. for a WRX with vf39 on 22PSI he sure makes more than any VF39 or VF43 STi out there..

id def like to see this number get back up with E.T. or Trapspeed.

Nope. Rich dynoed my stock 06 sti for a baseline....it did 269/270 iirc. It traped 104.8 in the 1/4. 100% bone stock, filter and all, on wawa 92oct

If im not mistaken Justin was off the day you came in though I did hear about your car. If im not mistaken Riches good friend dynoed his stage 1 STI and made less power then your stock STI did. Ill try and find the graph tomorrow.

The stage 1 was a OTS map and iirc the fuel curve didnt look so nice.
FYI:OTS maps have made less power then stock before.
