2017 A4 Quattro

Default ac clutch wont engage. Im in cali ugh

I have an 06 tr and i noticed that the air wasnt getting cold the other day. the light on the ac button would illuminate but I noticed the clutch didnt engage. Could it be a bad fuse?

Make sure the belt is tight. If it's loose and the belt isn't catching on the clutch, it's not gonna spin. I had the same problem a couple weeks ago and just tightened the belt up for an easy fix.

The #1 cause for that is low freon....it happens. Buy a can at a parts store for cheap, charge it yourself and it should be all good.
