i hate to be brief, but ive never messed with an auto before.

everything is perfect but where the shift linkage bolts to the body of the auto, there are no threaded studs? what did fellow auto to manual swappers do?

are there threaded holes in the body of the car? in my 02 there are two 12m bolts that hold the linkage in the body in that area, not studs. got a pic of the area?

not right now. i know there are sopost to be 2 12" studs, but i breifly looked and there were like caps over where the studs might would stick out. i just glanced at it this weekend as the car is 40 miles away... i wont be able to check again untill sunday

most everything you need to bolt something into that's not already used should have little plastic plugs in it, pop them out, the bore should be pre tapped, then just bolt the bushing right on.
