Default ej20K Crank Sensor Replacement

Will any USDM WRX crank sensor work? They appear to look the same.

thanks...I ordered a usdm wrx one...we'll see if it's the same.

another question - my ej20k oil filter it longer and wider than the USDM WRX/STI ones....any idea if using the smaller filter is going to harm anything?

Sti oil filters work fine. Though for a higher capacity i would recommend a fram extra guard wrx filter because the canister size is much bigger and has more filtration media.
