SOLD - 35r bug/hawkeye

Default 1st time @ the track: 35r bugeye 520whp, 455tq

I dont know how to post up sheets or timeslips (no scanner) but heres what ive done... (maybe someone at precision can post up my sheet)
My car is finally finished....thanks to the help of Precision Tuning.
It's just up to me to get the launch down(it was my first time EVER running at the track AND with a launch controller on my Hydra set a little too low(i shouldve listened to Cleo and raised it)
My power keeps on rising towards the end of the my dyno sheet and never falls off but they called it a day due to coming close to maxing out my 800s and single walbro. AND due to the fact im running stock rods, im ok with where its at due to the longevity of my motor.
My best time on Wednesday was a 12.306 at 119 and all of my 60's were about 2.0-2.1 ):
It was about 87 degrees out if that counts for anything. i had 2 bad launches on my last two runs then my intercooler popped off the turbo so i called it a day.
Any comments,suggestions welcome
thanks

12.1 @ 121 ...2.0 60" = 2nd time out.

12.3 with a 35r, built block, etc...not impressed. but it WAS your first time out, so it makes sense. The more practice you get, those times are going to drop big time. with a 1.8 60' ( you can do A LOT better with LC) you will already be in the 11's.

Not everyone is a professional drag racer.

OP, get some more practice and you will do a lot better. If you get your 60 ft down, traps will drop and MPH will likely go up.

Did you even bother to read the rest of my comment? shut your mouth and read... you said exactly what I did. I said it like it is. 12.3's arent impressive with 520whp, but to be expected for a first timer.

I need help launching if you figure it out before me loL!

BTW great numbers for your first time...
Me i might get a 4 second 60... and then be in the 19s my first time at the track.. lol

First time to the track, and with a twin disk + big turbo? props to you man. Some people have trouble driving bone stock sti's, so don't worry. Just get someone knowledgeable to give you some tips on how to launch. Shift faster and that trap speed will go up too.

.....or you can let me take it for a run

Nice trap speed. Getting that launch down is an art so keep working at it.

yeah [email protected] means you will definately get a LOT faster with more practice.

Not only does 119mph mean 11s, but the fact is that if you drove poorly enough to trap 119mph and STILL only run a 12.3, then you will likely gain at least 4-5mph more in the traps as your driving improves!

In other words, keep at it, you are going to do some NICE times with some practice.

set your tire pressure to 25psi... then set your LC to ~5500rpms.

dont be afraid to launch it hard. you'll get there.

its about 5500 on the laptop but it looks like almost 6 on the dash..i hold it for about 5 sec or so, probably as soon as the first light shows(im guessing a little too late)..my tire pressure is about 10 more then that i believe..

I'd expect 520whp to trap much higher then 119mph - happy dyno perhaps?
