Default no spark after swap...help!

So i just finished putting a 2.2 (out of a 99' obs) into my 96' Impreza and I don't have any spark. There is gas getting to it and the starter works but are there some things that I should check? The plugs are good and the wires are new. I was thinking it might be a senor but I don't know where to start or know how to test them. Might it be because I didn't have the cooling system installed yet?

Thanks!
Anthony

Check your cam/crank sensors. Your cam sensor is on the front of the drivers side head, your crank sensor is behind your alternator.

Make sure the connections are on all the way and the bolts holding them down aren't loose. If it still doesn't work, see if you know someone with a similar engine and swap sensors for 10 minutes.
