Default FS in MI: Freshly rebuilt STi RA Gearset 5 Speed Transmission 0 Miles - $2500

I'm selling a complete set of RA Gears professionally installed in to a 2003 case. Basically every wear item inside the case is new as well as all of the gears themselves. The gears have 0 miles on them.

The gear set was purchased from Gruppe-S for $1500.
The gear set was professionally installed in the case at Holland Transmission. The person who rebuilt this transmission is considered the best BMW trans builder in the country and is incredibly meticulous. He has rebuilt many Subaru transmissions back to factory spec and commented on how nice the RA set was compared to the original Subaru parts.

The gears have improved ratios to keep you in the power band and have greater power handling.

I would like to get $2500 OBO. The gears, having them installed, and providing a donor case would run you well over this amount. I will work with you on shipping, but I suspect it's going to be a few hundred dollars.

How come you are selling it? Will this work on a 04 WRX? Does this include everything I need to install it?

All PMs have been replied to.

As far as what model it works with... It has the 3.90 final drive in it, so any 2002-2005 WRX works in that regard. If you look closely at the pictures you can see that it takes the 2002/2003 style front axles. Other than the front axles it is a direct swap.

If I had a stock 03 wrx with a bad transmission, would this transmission bolt up with no change over issues, drive ratio issues, electrical connection isses or speedometer error issues? I am just trying to figure this out as I don't know much about this swap.

Thanks - Steve

Gruppe-S states "275-350whp"

It is all in how you drive though. Most people state this trans is good for 300+ whp.

Trans will probably go on eBay next week if no one on Nasioc wants it.

Make an offer!

You cant really put a specific number on them. Around 300 hp could have anywhere from 240-300 tq and torque is what breaks gears. Are they better than stock...Yes, are they bulletproof...No. Stock-RA-mfactory/kaaz - PPG - 6mt in ascending order of strength.

Actually, the Front Diff ratio is 3.90:1. The center diff is 1.1:1.

So you need a 3.54:1 Rear Diff, which is factory in 02-05 wrx.

Your problem with swaping this into an 04-05 is that this transmission has male axle stubs in it. So you'll need 02-03 front axles. But if you have an 02-03, it's a direct swap.
