News 2008 Subaru STi - AMR T50R / AMR TMIC / Much More.....!!!!!

Notes:

I am very impressed with this combination. We achieved full boost (22psi) at 3500-3600rpm. AFR's were 10.5 (really conservative). Timing left on the really low conservative side (which you can see from the TQ). This turbocharger really starts to shine over 19psi. The vehicle hits a hard 360wtq by 4000rpm and pulls extremely hard straight to 7000rpm. Definitely fun to drive. I took the car for a 1 hour drive last night to visit my parents, all you heard was the whistling of boost even at 1/4 throttle. The reason we all purchase a turbo car . I tried to see if there was any vehicles (Porsche, etc.) to kind of play with but no dice. When I get sometime I will take this beast to the track and get some track results for you guys as always.

Modifications:
- AMR Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC) w/ AMR Breather Kit
- AMR BMI Cold Air System
- AMR Dual Turbo Back Exhaust
- AMR T50R Bolt-On Turbocharger w/ Optional Upgraded Actuator
- AMR 750cc Top-Feed Injectors
- AMR Custom Dyno Tuned Map

Power Increase: +150whp over stock (safe & conservative)

Tuning Note:

- Vehicle: 2008 Subaru STi

- AFR: 10.5
- BOOST: 22psi
- TIMING: Conservative
- FUEL: 93 Octane

Power: 350whp / 360wtq

The T50R fits all Subaru models. We are currently working on the same TMIC for the older Subaru models which should be released within the next week or so.

as well as the factory MAP Sensor only good for ~24psi. So I would say thats a big no on pushing 93 octane any higher on a TMIC.

Im sure with Race Gas or 100% METH but not 93 octane, I'm sure the reference was aimed at the 93 octane. I have a Q16 Race Gas tune tomorrow and 30psi on my TMIC is what we are targeting as well.

We upgraded the MAP sensor in which our maps for this turbocharger come already scaled for.

Rob,

To go along with other peoples questions, what happend to the BOV? Was it relocated?

Definetely look forward to some time at the track. That turbo/TMIC setup is exactly what I am looking for. Spools like stock, with a pretty solid top end

I currently do not have a BOV on the vehicle. We are working on fabricating our own.

This turbocharger did exactly what we wanted. Spool like stock with more bang up top.

When I track I will post the slip and vid.
