Default JDM STi wires?

Hey guys, im in the process of swapping out my chassis harness with that from a 2004 JDM STi. But I have run into a problem. See I bought the full engine/drivetrain and it came with the harness, but they did not include the gauge cluster harness or part of the harness that runs to the engine bay for the ABS etc.

I need to find out who would be able to get these components for me. I tried buying a 2004 USDM STi gauge cluster harness but that is a different design of the plug and wont work. I really dont feel like cutting up the harness and trying to figure it out either.

I don't care if the wires are brand new from the factory or from a wrecker, as long as they work.

Any help you guys can offer would be great, im reaaaaaallly looking forward to having my car back on the road, it's been a long long wait.

John

Try these guys... in Canada and very knowledgeable. I once bought a Spec C Type RA Engine from them and it was in amazing shape. They should be able at the very least to point you in the right direction if not supply you with the harnesses you need! They are in Japan all of the time and know the JDM stuff very well. They deal with a lot of take-offs that are in excellent near new condition as they are always preparing cars for racing. Good Luck!

Ok, so i talked to a lot of people today. Fourstar, Rallispec, Lachute and JDMSpecC4u.

JDMSpecC4u had the wiring loom I needed for the ABS etc, so that was awesome. But they didn't have the cluster harness and not sure if they can get it. They recommended splicing the USDM cluster harness I have into the JDM chassis harness, problem is we dont have wiring diagrams for it.

Called Lachute and Fourstar and they said the same thing. Rallispec im emailing and awaiting info on there end.

I would love to keep from splicing the wires........as that will be a PITA. Any other thoughts?

I just went back and did a little research in my personal archives here because I remember having a wiring issue somewhere when I bought my JDM Spec C engine. Turns out it was with the fuel pump. I needed the wiring diagram for the RHD or it would have been a PITA to figure it out and I had already converted the JDM harness to LHD so which was time consuming enough...anyway
I found a few faxes I had here that Fourstar faxed me of the wiring diagrams for the RHD model, ie fuel guage system and engine electrical system.... so my point is maybe any of these guys could fax you the wiring diagrams for the section you need as they probably have them around as most of the cars they prepare are RHD. If they won't do it for free maybe give them a few bucks for there time.... Just a thought??

I had to splice my JDM harness into the plugs from the USDM for the fuel pump also......hopefully I did it right.

I'll see if they might have the info for the gauge cluster though, thanks for the tip.
