Default Port 'n Polish questions

I've got an '05 WRX all stock except for the airbox resonator delete and CBE (still stock UP). Came across a gutted '04 WRX UP and stock manifolds/x-pipe from an '03 WRX. Budget is tight so really can't afford aftermarket UP or X-pipe so I was thinking about doing a P&P job on these stock exhaust pieces. I've got the tools and a few years shop experience, only expense should be for gaskets but was wondering if this is going to be worth the effort and what to expect from it (or if I should just wait awhile and go aftermarket on the x-pipe and UP). Also, I've done some searching but haven't really found the info I'm looking for. Is there a DIY thread with torque specs for these parts?

Yes it's worth it, all torque specs are 26 ft/lbs, now get to work!

Im with you as far as the budget goes. There is alot that can be PnP on these things. Just got done doing the exhaust side of things. Going for the intake and VGsomthing or other tomorrow. Im not sure what the power gain is. I would like to see a before and after PnP dyno. But I know its free.

I wouldn't do the stock crosspipe. Its not worth it, just save up and get an aftermarket crosspipe when you have the money.
