Default Agile Auto tuned 07' STi DOM III

So I got my car tuned yesterday @ Agile Auto finally

For some of you thats been keeping up with my build here
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1579599
You will know that ive ran into quite a few problems from missing parts, to recieving the wrong parts down to being PITA install.

Finally now after everything is done and said for the car runs beautifully. I arrived 30 minutes late due to traffic from Northern VA to Agile but thankfully they understood the circumstances. Got to meet everyone at the shop including the two shop dogs which were extremely lazy I might add.

Some photos from the shop.

Her getting ready to be tuned

Anyways onto the numbers! Here are some of the mods.

2007 STi
Blitz Spec Nur R (catless)
Helix DP (catless)
Cobb Acessport
SBR Tial 38mm EWG Kit (Invidia fab'd uppipe)
Blouch Dominator 3.0R (gt30r)
Perrin Big MAF
Turbo XS MBC
Perrin FMIC
Gimmick turbo inlet/after MAF
NGK 1 step colder plugs
Deatschwerks 850cc inectors
Walbro Fuel Pump

21.5psi @ 93 Octane

Iam extremely pleased with how the car is running now, it pulls like a demon out of hell and screams like a banshee when that EWG opens up. We had a few issues with a few hoses blowing off but Hill luckily found all of the issues and corrected them all. On the first run of 16psi it blew the piping right off the TB and snapped the clamp in half so he put on T-Bolt clamp and it ran like a champ after that. He also changed the restrictor pill for me.

At one point it hit 432whp @ 23psi but was due to spiking so we threw on a MBC he had at the shop and gained some nice numbers and was able to turn down the boost. We wanted to see what she could make just for ****es a giggles but we killed the dyno by overheating it

As far as the customer service goes everything is top notch, all the employees are very friendly and welcoming. Hill was also able to answer every question I asked him (which was a lot) just about the progress with the car and what not. Overall iam extremely pleased with Agile Auto.

Now for something SUPER RARE!!!

VIDEOS!

Make sure you let the video load up and then hit " Watch in high Quality" below the video for the best looking quality. Iam contemplating uploading high quality AVI videos on my photobucket since the ones on youtube suck. Its a freaking HighDef camcorder and it looks like that!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33lHjfLrhNU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAnSZdhRXZg&feature=user
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0s9tLKy10k&feature=user

Ill be getting some footage of the actual car also, but ever since I left Agile yesterday its been raining non stop so can't at the moment. Ill also be taking pictures of the car with everything complete.

Let me know what you guys think

I notice ALL your clamps seem to be regular worm drive clamps.

They fail.

Go on EBAY and buy a bunch of T-bolt. They wont fail, much less leave you stranded.

Nice numbers.

it sounds like they are turning the car off after each pull.

What do you mean? They didn't turn the car off for the majoirty of the runs, usually if they turned it off it was because the car itself turned off from a boost leak of some sort of a hose blowing off.

oh okay, i was just saying it doesnt seem like it would be a good idea to do that since the engine wont have anymore oil pressure and you have a turbo spooling with no oil, sorry i was confused.

very nice numbers! I am very happy with my tune from Hill. Both tunes I've had actually

He sure seems to like 21.5psi when tuning with 93oct. That is what both of my tunes have been for and people look at me funny when I tell them that's how much boost I'm running.

Emil,
We are happy to hear you were so pleased. We look forward to being able to help you with any needs in the future. Enjoy snapping necks with the new found power...she should pull like a freight train. Thanks again for your business.

Im suprised Hill only tuned you @ 21.5 , That turbo really shines at around 23-24

What RPM do you hit full boost ? Thinking of going back for a racegas map ?

Congrats!

yea maybe it shine at 23-24 but hes on stock internals no point going for 20 more hp for a possible cost of a new engine- power to cost ratio os that is what fails- so way to go grumpy

I ran 24psi on 93oct daily with my stock internals and the 1st ever Dom III made, tuned by Hill at Agile for almost 2 years before I sold my STi. Never had any problems. Hill wouldn't have left it at 24psi if it was not safe. He tunes to the max reliable power for each car. If he feels boost is too much then he'll turn it down a little untill everything looks safe, from what I've seen.

yea but the fact is the more boost the more stress on the engine PERIOD and as we all know every car is different some fail some go for 500k miles- i mean lots of people on race gas tunes go 28 psi or so and are fine when they use it but more stress is more stress so take it as u will

hey grumpy see that red, hill just tuned ,should make u feel REAL good when a 35r type turbo only makes 20 more hp at a certain cost in spool etc
