Question Exhaust questions

Ummm k, I'm still a little cofused on some of the exhaust pieces, so I'll fire off a few questions.

What's a front midpipe? Is this the exhaust piece directly after the downpipe? And, since there is a front midpipe, am I safe in assuming there is a rear midpipe? How far away from the muffler is the rear midpipe?

Scooby sport sells a catless front midpipe for $165, I already have a vishnu up-pipe. If I get a catless downpipe, catless front midpipe, and a new muffler, will I then be cat free and have a complete turbo back exhaust, or is there another stock exhaust piece that will be left over after I install my downpipe, front midpipe, and muffler?

As I've said I have a catless up-pipe, and I've heard that the catless up-pipe drops EGTs by a good bit (I installed my EGT guage at the same time I installed my up-pipe so I can't say whether the up-pipe dropped my EGTs.) Will I also see an appreciable EGT drop with a full turbo back exhaust?

If I were to get a new turbo would I need a new up-pipe and full turbo back exhaust, or just a new up-pipe and downpipe if I wanted to keep the exhaust at 2.5 inches? It might be kinda screwy for me to spend $1500 in the exhaust if I plan on adding a new turbo...

I don't wish to appear condescending, but have you read the thread WRX Exhaust 101? It discusses the various nomenclatures for the WRX exhaust system. Maybe it'll answer some of your questions (since nobody else has).

You might also want to contact someone at http://www.rallyperformance.com, which is the U.S. distributor for ScoobySport
