Default Thanks, Dan! (@ SubyDude)

Short Version
I picked up EDM headlights with HID wirings from SubyDude locally and Dan at SubyDude spent around 45min explaining exactly how to hook up my new headlights. Headlights are now hooked up with everything working thanks to Dan who patiently explained everything in detail to me.

Long Version
I bought a set of EDM headlights with an aftermarket HID kit for my bugeye I didn't want to go through the hassle of figuring out the existing harness so I decided to buy a new set. I found out that SubyDude was local in my area and they carried the harness.

Just to give a background, I was very skeptical about my own abilities to wire things. The only thing I've ever wired was a head unit and a Apexi SAFC II in my last car, but I had a bunch of help from friends to do it. I didn't have much confidence in my ability to wire the HIDs.

So this is where Dan from SubyDude steps in. I told him what my setup was and asked for the headlight harness for HIDs. They didn't carry the harness for HIDs in the shop, but he was able to get it from a supplier near by. He left and got back in 10 minutes. I looked at the wire and was . It looked very confusing confusing to me. So Dan pretty much showed me exactly what goes where and made everything crystal clear to me. He also showed me what I needed to do to get my high beams to work. After that, he checked to make sure my DRLs were disabled because it doesn't work well with HIDs.

All and all, he spent around 45min to make sure I was totally comfortable with wiring everything myself. I did the wirings the same night and the process was quite smooth.

Thanks, Dan!
