Default 08 STI - Metal or rubber valve stem?

Yes its a noob question.

Just picked up an 08 sti (for my wife). I'm about to head out of town but need to buy some winter tires ASAP. Tirerack asks if the car has rubber or metal valve stems? The car has TPMS so I'm guessing they're metal?

If I'm just switching tires (keeping the same rims) are the TPMS parts transerfable? Or do I need to buy additional parts?

The TPMS is attached to the wheel / part of the valve stem assy. Nothing to transfer. Just make sure the shop changing the tires is aware so they don't damage the sensors when they take off the old tires.

The 08 STI should use a schrader snap in rubber valve stem that should be replaced (a simple task for any shop worth using) to confirm take off the valve cap and look and see if it looks like this
