03 wrx spec r1

Default widest tire for 02/03 wrx

Hey i was wondering wat is the widest and wat off sets u need to fit on an 03 wrx i have i have 17 inch rims right now dont remember the offset but i want soem rotas and was gonna stick wit 17's but was wondering if 8s 8.5 and 9's would fit and if any fender rolling would be needed

you would probably be safe with a low 40's offset, 8.5 rim and 245 or 235 tires. i will be trying out 17x9 with 255/40/17 tires in the sring on my spec r1. i will need to roll the rear fenders though and run some negative camber

on the bugeye you will need to roll the fenders no question if you're going wider than a 235 with an offset lower than 50mm.

with the rolled fenders and some camber you shouldn't have problems squeezing on a 245 or a 255, as long as you've got a quality suspension under there as well.
