Default Im Stuck! Error "choose new map to flash to ECU"

So I am trying to put a map i got emailed to me from surgeline tuning, but when I plug my accessport into my car, it says "please choose a new map to flash to the ECU"

*Then It says turn the Car Fully off and then back on.

*I do that and it keeps saying ERROR please try operation again.

The Accessport map manager on my computer either is not connecting to it.

Its seems to be stuck in this cycle, as i am not able to put mt accesspor into sync mode.

Any suggestions? Thanks,

How are you trying to sync to the PC? With no power to the AP and hooked up to your computer hold the UP+DOWN arrows then plug in the power cable with that held down. See if the AP goes into "Waiting for PC" mode.

When hooked up to your car did you connect the test mode connectors and is the car in test mode aka CEL flashes and relays clicking? If the car isn't in test mode it will NOT flash the ECU.
