Default right channel louder then left?

I hooked up an Alpine 5 1/4 component set in my RS a few weeks ago and when I first listened to it I noticed that the right speakers were noticably louder than the left. I have no adjustability for that on my amp, just gain for front, rear and sub. I have a 5 channel Kenwood amp runnning my entire setup and everything else seems to be ok. There's only a problem with the door speakers. Does anyone know what might cause this? Thanks for any help.

Well, mine are the same way(different speakers, though). I put in 6.25's and had to put in spacers to support their depth. I tried to angle the woofers up at me, but only managed the slightest of an angle. Therefore, the left speaker is aiming across my feet. The right is aimed a little more closely to my head.

You have to realize, the tweeter is not normally going to be quite as bright. The Mid-range sound you get from the Mid-Bass woofers will usually be stronger. You're probably hearding that.

Only way to tell, really, is to sit in the back of the car, dead-center.

Just my suggestion. Or, you may have an amplification issue or the wires could be backwards(check crossovers as well).
