Default pink subaru star emblem

I want my star emblems to be pink. I've seen it on some Subies; is there a place I can buy them or is it a DIY thing?

You can get one here:
http://www.renickmotorsports.com/osc...roducts_id=210

(Also, there is a way to mod your current emblem. More info here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ght=emblem+mod)

Edit: just noticed you have an '08, don't know if the one from Renick will fit, sorry.

once you remove every off the back (adhesive) then take some paint thinner, brake cleaner, or easy off (oven cleaner) spray that on a rag and rub repeat until paint is removed every where except silver stars

heres a step by step its for an 07

For the 06/07 rear trunks, instead of debadging, you can sand, and then color match, looks sweet on UGM, CGM, White, & Black

If you use 0000 Steel Wool, you wont have to worry about stripping the stars off

If you strip the stars off, you can paint the stars, re-sand and spray another color.
I plan on doing this eventually.

heat it up (heat gun/hair dryer)

use super thin flathead screwdriver - pry gently.

really is the easiest mod out there.

LMN;
not available as a Subaru part, but one of the famous Aftermarket makers here ( L'Aunsport ) has franchised the right to make 'em for the 2008's

Whatever you do dont buy the knock off versions you see on Ebay.
I have a employee here that went the cheap route. After 2 months the pink turned to a goofy purple. Now we laugh at him everyday.
Save yourself the embarrassment and buy OEM
