pink subaru star emblem

I want my star emblems to be pink. I've seen it on some Subies; is there a place I can buy them or is it a DIY thing?

once you remove every off the back (adhesive) then take some paint thinner, brake cleaner, or easy off (oven cleaner) spray that on a rag and rub repeat until paint is removed every where except silver stars

For the 06/07 rear trunks, instead of debadging, you can sand, and then color match, looks sweet on UGM, CGM, White, & Black

If you use 0000 Steel Wool, you wont have to worry about stripping the stars off

If you strip the stars off, you can paint the stars, re-sand and spray another color.
I plan on doing this eventually.

I use a flathead screwdriver and I pry it off.

heat it up (heat gun/hair dryer)

use super thin flathead screwdriver - pry gently.

really is the easiest mod out there.

hey anyone with an 08 sedan when you take the emblem of the trunk is there anything that it connects to in the truck (aka bolt,etc) or is it just pry off

Whatever you do dont buy the knock off versions you see on Ebay.
I have a employee here that went the cheap route. After 2 months the pink turned to a goofy purple. Now we laugh at him everyday.
Save yourself the embarrassment and buy OEM
