Cool Test drove the Honda Odyssey

I test drove that Honda Van last Wednesday. 240 Horsepower Vtec. I am not buying a van but if I had to it would be it. A coworker needed so advice on a van so I volunteered. It had pretty good accelaration for a big pig and the doors opened with a touch of a button on both sides. The new Civic Si was in the showroom also with the new Acura CL Type-S with a 6-speed. Didn't get to testdrive the last two.

My dad actually has a 2000 Honda Odyssey...those things rip off the line..i wonder if I bring it down for a 1/4 mile...how impressive it'd be to scared a few stock civics It has a real strong "umph" to the car..doesn't it?

A friend of mine works at the Continental Honda/Acura dealership. He recently test drove the Odyssey and he said the same thing - if he were to buy a minivan, that would be the one. Sounds pretty nice.

That new Civic Si has a funky console, doesn't it? I was watching the commercial on TV, and it flashed by, so I rewound (I have Tivo) and played it in slow-motion. Looks pretty strange.

Yes, the shifter on the Si actually goes into the dash instead of into the floor of the car. I have not sat in one like Eric has, but I saw a few at SEMA, definately weird.

If you think about it, it is actually a good spot for the shifter. A lot of rally cars use it in that posistion.
