I just got back from the tire shop and the results are in. The 265's when turned full lock to the right rubbed up against my already trimmed Voltex front bumper. I had Tommy replace them with the 255's and it was perfect. I drove the car home with zero rubbing anywhere so now it's time to lower the car by that .3" tire diameter to get things back to the drop that I like.

Two things prevented me from staying with the 265's; the after market bumper and the caster kit that pitches the front wheels forward. I only missed by a couple of mils but after the car is lowered some more it will be perfect. I also have that .5 degree of camber left to use up front that I will play around with once my ride height is complete.

Pics when I am done. It should look very close to Calitri-Boost's STi which is my role model for stance.

And it will still be driven up to Seattle on occasion. See you sometime up there soon Will!

Good job Jeff! please do take pics since I've been wanting to go wider on my tires If you can also post up the alignment settings, that would be awesome! I have zero rubbing right now with the 245s except when I'm trying to do full lock. And the tires rubbed on the bumper so much that it doesn't rub anymore . Try and make it to our next car meet Jeff.

I'll do that Will. I would have everything done tomorrow but PRE is closed because of a weekend racing event. It might take a week before pics are posted but it'll happen.

For now my specs are:

-3.0* camber up front and -2.0* in back with +4.8* caster and set up for aggressive driving toe. All of my suspension specs are listed in the OP.

Do you have any pictures of of the LED lighting under the dash? I've lurked through this entire thread before but I don't remember seeing any pictures of that.

Thanks!

I don't have any pics of the under dash LEDs because it is hard for the camera to pick them up. I only use them at shows and most of the time the lights are so bright it is hard for them to get noticed.

Well then, there will be at least 2 two STi's with a stance "that isn't that special".

I have a 10:00 appointment at PRE on Friday to get the setup massaged. Three things need to happen. The front fenders nees to be pulled slightly to match the rear pull. The car needs to be lowered another third of an inch. Finally, another half of a degree of negative camber is needed at all four corners. That will put my final camber settings at -3.5 up front and -2.5 in back, very show worthy yet still a very respectable stance for spirited driving.

I should have a pic or two posted by Friday evening.

Sorry for the delay in posting these pics but I just got back from PSI where I had the alignment done. The camber is what I expected at -3.6 up front and -2.9 in back with 0 toe. Before that I took the car to PRE where Zack lowered the car and rolled the front fenders again. Car looks and runs great. It was an effort but I got 18x10 +18 wheels with 255/35/18 tires to fit without compromising my handling. In fact I think it's the best handling setup I've ever had.

I hope to have one of my buds snap some better pics soon. For now these will have to do.

Thanks to the Touge Factory for the speedy delivery of the wheels, Tualatin America's Tire for the mounting, PRE for the fitment and and PSI for the alignment. I couldn't be happier with the decision.

Thanks man. The gloss black with red accents is what sold them for me.

Looks really good man....

But i don't think they are a step up from the VOLKS, IMO VOLKS will always be the best wheels money can buy. Advan being a close second...
