Exclamation OH MY GOD!!! Help!!!!!

help me guys!

well i had installed some basic audio wires for my 08 Impreza. i also test the car before i go inside. the next morning i try to start the car. the car didn't start. first i though car is still to cold, i try again and several more time then just give up.

couple theories came up

1. i though the battery may die from last night. jump star but didn't work.

2. some fuse may got burned. check all the fuse form inside to out side.

3. i saw the gasoline light blinking and the gauge was all the way on the right. i went to a gas station and bough two gallons of premium, didn't work.

my uncle said may be it was the starter but I'm just posting this thread for your guiding.

i highly doubt you did anything to your start by installing some audio stuff...
to me, its one of the following

something drained your battery completely dead, so it may need to charge for a little bit

you blew some sort of fuse...just cause they look ok doesnt mean they meter out

i dont really see it being anything else, but we need more info then "it wont start"
does it try to turn over?
is it cranking at all?
is your fuel pump kicking on?

Your description of the problem is a little vague. I assume you are saying that the starter motor is turning the engine over when you try to start it. If that is correct then you need to check the safety switch on the clutch pedal and make sure it is closed when the pedal is pushed down.

well intalled the wiring but didn't hook up the amp or any thing like that.

and yes, the engine did crank for a fraction of a second and then just stop.

so frustrated i going to call the dealer and ask some question.

thank you for your input.

Try cleaning the battery post connections using a wire brush. It may be just that simple of a problem since you say it tried to crank briefly.

I assume its something small like your battery being dead. Make sure you give it a full charge and test it before you rule that out. If you still can't figure it out just fix all the wiring that you did and bring it back to stock looking conditions and then have the dealer fix it under warranty.

you are right 100%juice. the amp remote cable was the trouble maker.

thanks you all for your input.
