I have spare set. Send me a PM.

You can find the the 680 cheaper at www.portablepower.com

My 2nd pc680 is just about dead after 3 3/4 years. I reused the stock mount slightly tweaked, no head shield. Maybe it shortened the battery life, but it's hard to say.

Price used to be $80....for $120+, I think I'm looking for a more traditional battery.

I forgot to add that my 1st PC680 was in storage for over a year, and now won't hold a charge. Their 2-year storage life claim is total crap if you ask me.

$12.95 at...

http://shopping.microbattery.com/s.n...2&category=796

I ran an Odyssey 680MJ in my mach 1 for a little over a year until it heat soaked one day on me coming back from Fun Ford up in NH.

I now run a Deka X20L in my 07 WRX I paid $75 for, two years and going strong. Just remember to rap it because they don't come with a metal jacket.

The p680 MJT I ordered comes with the metal jacket but I was thinking I should wrap it as well. Is that a good idea or a bad one?

It's not a bad idea to wrap it anyway, I used duct wrap and foil tape on my battery as you saw. No moisture problems so far, and I rinse down my engine from time to time. These types of batteries are very susceptible to heat soak.

it is alse REAL easy to relocate
all ya need is ONE cable to the POS under the hood and a good ground to the body

and ya get to take almost 40 pounds off the front of the car
I put mine under the passengers seat and never looked back

Quick question here, does the PC680MJT come with everything needed to connect the POS and GND? I'm not sure if the "T" means it comes with the terminal or not, not sure what SAE Automotive Posts mean. Otherwise, I'll add the SAE terminal adapter kit to my basket.

Thanks!!!!

T= terminals

and in my experience, putting these batteries under the hood is a waste of time.....the heat just kills them

mine lasted 5 years because it was under the seat...NOT under the hood
