Default Removing Tire from Rim?

This may or may not sound crazy.

Has anyone removed tires from rims by cutting them off? In my case I don't care if the tire gets destroyed (no tread life left).

I want to avoid having them dismounted because every time I take rims in they always damage them.

I have and it wasn't fun. You will damage the wheel more than the shop will.

I had a old junker tire and wheel. I tried a hack saw, bolt cutters and a cut off wheel on a drill. Steel belts don't like to be cut and the bead(with steel cable inside) is harder to cut. I forgot how I even got the bead to pop off the rim but you need to pop it off first to cut the bead.

you can always just try one wheel and if its a pain in the a$$, then just take the other 3 to a shop
