Blouch Dom 2.5
Access port V2

Brakes & Suspension:

Yep he has a ACT clutch and flywheel but so far the tranny has held up very well. One full autocross season and he competes very regularly.

Yea... just curious if in the first side shot are chromed BBSes, or if it is just a trick of the lighting.

Very nice car... too much for me, but very clean.

EDIT: Already answered. Thanks.

The BBS depending on the light go from a black chrome to almost looking like a regular chrome. I did not think I was going to like the wheels at first but they grew on me for sure.

wow..completely built STI with many thousand dumped into it, and he gets another wrx to build up as well along side? They are very similar base cars, what was the point of that?

The WRX is more of a daily driver way more so then the STI. He wanted something he could have fun Auto crossing with and a track monster so he ended up with two cars.

Yeah, not really sure why you would want to swap out an '07 WRX motor for an '06 STi one. If anything just pull the turbo and TMIC. To each his own though...car looks great.

A few reasons the first being he had the long block sitting around from his other build up so he was not out any money. Secondly STI long blocks and WRX 2.5 long blocks are not exactly the same. STI run on a lower compression ratio of 8.2:1 instead of 8.5:1 as in the WRX.

To the question of why not just by a STI he did and we are in the process of building that one up as well.

They actually came stock with the car. They are heated as well which is nice in the winter time.

Why would you want lower compression? Not enough people realize the advantage in terms of spool/response/off boost behavior that comes with compression.

Want to sell the WRX long block?
