Guitars for Sale
I'm picking up my xmas/b'day present guitar and also would like to get something lighter for my 8 year old (standing with a heavy electric is tough for him). To that end, I'd like to unload some of my guitars to keep the peace with the family (I have almost as many guitars as wheels)
Here are 2 that I'd like to first offer:
Silver EVH copy. Photo top, 2 hums with trem (no bar....I'll try to get one) with non-locking tuners. Nice straight maple neck and finger board. Strung with Ernie Ball Slinky (10's). Everything works. No case. This thing plays perfectly and everything works. I have mp3's that I've recorded with it if you want to hear it in "blues" mode.
This is one of the best inexpensive guitar I've played. I'd put it on par with a mexican tele. This is the same scale as a Les Paul (24 3/4) so is a bit easier to play for beginners or kids.
It's a shape that's a tribute to sort of both the ernie ball Axis and the Peavey Wolfgang. It's the orangy one. My 98 wolfgang is in the background.
$120 picked up either in Hopkinton or Waltham (my work). I have amps in both locations if you want to try it out.
Second one is a 2004 Ernie Ball Musicman Sub 1 dual hum with trem in black krinkle. This comes with an original hard shell EBMM case. The sub 1 series was Ernie Ball's shot to the world that a super high quality guitar could be made in their SLO California shop at an affordable price (around $1200 new). They soon found that they made no money at that price and discontinued. This has a trem with locking tuners. Aluminum pickguard with rosewood fretboard. Pickguard is identical to EBMM Silhouette. Closest current EBMM model would be a Silhouette which has the body countours and a nicer finish with spertzel tuners....otherwise, they're almost identical. This is the same scale as a strat (25 1/2) $450 picked up at either location.
I would consider a trade, but it would have to be something light like one of the new PRS korean small body hollow and would have to be a shorter scale (PRS is 25" and is about the limit). I would consider trading up.
thanks for looking. If you want something recorded to hear a particular tone of either, let me know.
