I am 44, I had a 1993 Mustang GT, a 1988 Porsche 944S, a 2000 SAAB 9-5 Aero stage 3 (now for sale) and now a 2009 STI. Always wanted a WRX sedan but somehow got an STI, go figure . looking for stage 2 down the line.

28, so not there yet, but have no intentions of getting rid of the Subaru anytime soon. Imagine will have the car well in to my 30's and maybe even further. Have many goals for the car that will take a few years to achieve. I say, drive what you like and makes you happy.

LOL, in Florida it's the other way around. Now's the perfect time of year to work on the car, summer's too hot.

36 y/o, the 08 STI has Rota Torques in hyper black (thanks Subydude,) red tinted tails, dark tinted windows, LED tag lights, homemade grilles on the scoop, middle and lower openings.

It's nice looking without screaming punk kid.

I de-winged my 07 STI when I had it, just to make it a bit less noticeable, but a bright blue car with a hood scoop and gold wheels never really blends in with most traffic. At a suby meet a blue car with gold wheels is all but invisible.

I'm 34 and my mods include:

Window tint . But seriously, I have the opportunity to buy an APS intake at a great price, 70mm, but I'm not sure how the tuning thing works, if it is truly needed and if it will void my warranty. Any suggestions?

Default info.

31yrs, on my 3rd Subaru Great, Fun, Practical all weather car for the NW Conditions !!

My 1st was 02 WRX, 04 STI Stage 2, and now 08' STI. Had few other cars in between, but I kept coming back!

So far just Stage 1 AP/Cobb/Perrin map , Rally Armor, Tint coming and wheels next. Not going too wild on it.

29.5 and not likely ever parting with the wagon. Getting another yes but never getting rid of the glowing red beast.

My wifes 02 sedan has stayed almost stock, but that is because she won't let me change it....maybe i should just wait for her to go out of town for a couple of days and have a mod weekend.
Now that Sara's looking to get into another Scooby, she's telling me that this is "the man's job," and that I should just go to the dealership, and come home with her new Scooby.

I told her that's fine, that I'll come home with a new STI.

She protested that she doesn't drive stick, and that the STI only comes with stick.

I told her that if I came home with it, she'd have to learn, right?

Sara's very, very disappointed that all of the new hood-scoops are "innies" - she says she's been using her WRX's scoop as a lane-delineation aid.

I purchased my 02 bugeye a few months back from a 55 year old who put 210k bone stock miles on the car. He was happy the car was going to a 23 year old who would actually have a little fun with it.

I am way past 30 and my WRX is my dd. All stock. Looks like an innocent little hatchback with big eyes. Not sure if I could live with the wing on the STI. Then again, I'm considering an older BMW M Coupe, which is uglier than most cars. My advice: Get whatever you like.

I'm old, my oldest kid is 26...
Sold my 03 rex w/ vf34 hybrid last year, my younger kid took the stage 2 08 wrx, getting ready for stage 3 and now I cruise in a more age appropriate 05 forester with a full vf 34 sti swap, 6 spd, brembos, suspension, etc. 300 awhp is good for you no matter your age...

I'm nearly 28, but will own my bugeye for another 5+ years. Exterior-wise, only my Rally Armor UR's. I like the look. Thinking of a light bar, but not really anything else that way (that isn't tied to performance at least somewhat).
