Micro Desert Eagle
I know it has nothing to do with Subaru's, but does anyone know where to pick up a Micro Desert Eagle? Used or New I don't care. Seems like everywhere is sold out. Including Magnum Research themselves.

Hrrm i miss alaska's open gun laws... concealed carry permits up there are a waste of time, legally you can carry a gun on you hidden any time and almost anywhere, i've been pulled over with my S/W 500 strapped to my chest (Shuttling cars fishing) 2 or 3 times, troopers didn't even look twice or ask me if it was loaded... rofl. And thats no 9 mil :P

So yea, been to bear country and back many a time; my advice, go with a local and both be bear aware and pack heat, pepper spray is a no go. Oh, and if you think 45 magnums or 12guage slugs (both hot loads) are enough to take down a bear your dead wrong, i've seen a bear take 3 rounds of hot magnum loads and hot slug loads before it stopped it's inital charge, paused, and charged again (and this was only a 500lb bear, i've been charged by a lot bigger)... Oh yea, the bear took a total of 6 slugs, and 5 magnum rounds and was still able to run off with a slight limp, these animals are impressive! 500's are the smallest thing i'd reccommend caring for bear protection, people though, nah, a 9 is perfect . I'm sure you'll get all the bear stories outa me when i man up and hit one of these taco tuesdays or head out to a meet... hahaha |

If you check out Magnum's website the baby eagle is actually a larger gun than the micro. So I guess it would be the baby, baby version of the desert eagle. 06-wrx-tr, does he have the baby eagle or the micro? If he would sell it that would be awesome. I'm just a little guy, so I need a little gun.

Mico Eagle = .380 = No Tongan knock down power
I picked up a .40 Glock 27 for my CC piece. But why only take down one bad guy at a time...Get them to line up and shoot 3 or 4 per round. Here's my Micro Eagle, I went with a .44 do to it costing about 50% less to shoot than the .50. Plus when I run out of ammo I can club someone to death with it. |

Yea I hear ya I'm 5'11 150lbs and I carry a HK .40 P2000 and its the fullsize they make a subcompact in that model as well, but I wanted the longer barrel and bigger grip. The only thing about HK's is there is no safety what so ever, except your finger. I keep it locked up when I'm not using it . But that doesn't bother me, for one I know it's not going to go off unless I pull on that trigger. This gun is accurate as hell and I have fired over 2,000 rounds through it with no malfunctions whatsoever. It's really easy to field strip as well. It's all on what your looking for, when I was looking for a gun to CC I went to Impact Guns and held over 100 guns and the HK for me was the one that felt the most comfortable in my hands. It's all on personal preference, some people love Glock's and some hate them. Myself I'm a Colt, Sig and HK person.
